My primary role involves independent verification of rail and road infrastructure. The most notable projects I have worked on to date include Tonkin Gap Project, Albany Outer Ring Road and Bunbury Outer Ring Road. I am also currently acting as the lead project engineer for independent verification of the Albany Outer Ring Road project where I am responsible for client liaison, management of internal resources and invoicing along with forecasting and earned value metrics.

• Prepare technical designs to Client specifications. • Liaise with and make records of communications with clients & contractors and develop job scopes. • Geotechnical site classifications according to AS2870 and AS1726. • Design of concrete slabs, concrete pavements, stump and pad footings according to AS3600. • Design of steel structures, lifting devices and sea freight container stands according to AS4100. • Design of timber residential structures according to AS1720. • Interpretation and application of AS1170 for the purpose of specifying loads on structures. • Prepare safety documentation (JSEA) and supervise safe execution of site-based tasks by Bluemar staff and subcontractors. • Prepare cost estimates for large projects (up to $10M) using Rawlinsons Construction Handbook as well as more general comparisons to other projects. • Prepare Scope of Works to form part of larger tender specifications using AutoCAD. • Design of segmental retaining walls according to AS4678. • Structural inspections of transportable buildings and minor public infrastructure. • Review and check the work of other engineers and draughtspersons within the organisation. • Conduct dilapidation surveys and prepare a summary report of the visual observations. • Responsible for managing and completion of projects to the best level of confidence practicable. • Comply with all company policies and maintain a clean & safe workspace.
