Activities and societies: UTAS Geology Society Conducted an Honours research project on a newly discovered zone of mineralisation at Broken Hill - the \'Eastern Mineralisation\'. The aim was to identify any possible correlation in the formation of the zone with any of the previously mined ore bodies. Analysis was performed through the use of high resolution techniques, including Pb-isotope testing, and whole rock and mineral geochemistry. The project was conducted under the guidance of Professor Garry Davidson (UTAS), Professor Ian Plimer (UAdelaide) and CBH Resources.
