Activities and societies: Nursing Freshman Orientation 2018 - Orientation Group Leader • Picked up various skills from different facets of nursing studies, such as paediatrics, aged care, critical care, accident and emergency, mental health, gerontology and oncology nursing. • Completed an Honours Thesis Experiences and needs of children with siblings with Type 1 diabetes: A mixed studies review in my final year.

Activities and societies: Interact Club Subjects: H1 General Paper, H1 Chinese, H1 Biology, H2 Mathematics, H2 Economics and H2 Chemistry Interact Club (CCA): • Led a team of fellow students in planning a family games event targeted towards youth (Youthphoria) in collaboration with Chong Pang CC in 2014 • Taught basic vocabulary to various primary school students in a community involvement project in collaboration with Chong Pang CC in 2014 • Prepared English enrichment programmes for an event partnered with the Chinese Development Assistance Council (CDAC) in 2014 • Won the Merit award for exemplary leadership in the Interact Club • Awarded ‘Distinction’ for best teamwork in the Interact Club

• In charge of coordinating clinical postings for 200 medical students, namely in the General Surgery, Palliative Medicine, and Otolaryngology departments per academic year. • The main point of contact for Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, collaborating with them for the bi-annual nomination call across all medical faculty • Taking lead in the appointment process for Clinical Faculty Scheme (CFS) / Adjunct position and maintaining all appointment records • Oversee the preparation of clinical posting schedules, including preparation of materials for tutors and work closely with the institutes of higher learning (IHL) to ensure smooth execution • Constantly improving the quality scores of clinical postings, with scores reaching 4.00/4.00 across all domains • Assist in the recruitment of patients for school-based medical examinations • Supporting hospital events and education-related event management - Teachers\' Appreciation Day

• Worked in the eye clinic • Assisted both doctors and nurses in all eye procedures • Rendered care for patients pre and post-procedure, ensuring they are stable before discharge • Provided patient education and financial counselling to all patients on a daily basis

• Worked under the Surgical department • Acquired valuable experience in specialised cases, alongside its respective methods of treatment • Took charge of a cubicle of six patients, delegating tasks to junior nurses on a daily basis • Handled day-to-day routine inspections, including the serving of medicine and checking of vital signs • Provided assistance to patients, ensuring their needs are all accounted for • Ensured the efficiency of tasks due to the fast-paced environment on the job • Wrote daily shift reports under the supervision of a staff nurse preceptor
