    With JLGC, I assist a Professional Geologist (PG) with overseeing drilling operations, collecting and logging core samples, manipulating and managing data, writing technical reports and project bids, preparing project cost estimates, creating cross sections, maps, and figures via Illustrator and Surpac, and conducting field sampling and mapping for project use.

  • Geomorphology and Landscape Evolution Lab at UCLA (2020 - 2021 ) Research Assistant - Geology

    In close collaboration with my advisor, Professor Mackenzie Day, I used ArcGIS, GIS, Google Earth and MS Excel to collect and crunch data to create storied visuals. I utilize Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to edit and create diagrams that can be used alongside scientific writing to aid in the audience\'s comprehension. Professor Day and I work as lead and co authors to write our research into scientific manuscripts and present it at global scientific meetings such as AGU and GSA.

    I compete at the division one level while succeeding in a rigorous UCLA curriculum. UCLA WVB has turned me success driven and helped me become a better leader, communicator, collaborator, time manager, and mentor.

    I tried new volleyball-specific gear from Under Armour and reported back to Under Armour representatives on fit, materials, wearability, and style. I worked hard to collect opinions from teammates and our coaching staff to help push Under Armour\'s gear in a more practical, flattering, and comfortable direction.
