Job Description

Flexible Location: Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne

The Sales and Marketing Executive supports communication and business development in the APAC region. By supporting the development and execution of lead generation activities and coordinating regional business development efforts, the role helps the team identify and serve market needs. This multifaceted position combines sales & marketing activities including supporting the coordination of the business development team, developing and delivering communication materials, leading bid efforts, delivering the marketing strategy and executing campaigns that generate leads. This role reports to the Sales and Marketing Lead APAC and is also actively engaged with the regional leadership and management team. With multiple offices around the Asia Pacific region, we are open to location for the right candidate.

Essential Responsibilities

Business Development/ Account Management

  • Assist Account Managers with pre-sales and post-sales activities such as supplier liaison and qualification, proposal development, communicating with clients, etc
  • Assist sales lead generation activities and maintain a client database
  • Assist in the identification and recognition of new business development opportunities
  • Support the Strategic Account Program
  • Lead Generation
  • Identify leads through tender alerts, general market awareness, conferences, etc.
  • Communicate with prospective clients to progress opportunities
  • Assist consultants with generating and progressing leads

Detailed Tasks Proposal Management

  • Support the PSC proposal process including Bid/ No bid, proposal coordination, proposal strategy support and execution
  • Manage external tender websites to identify tendering opportunities
  • Develop and manage proposal project plan where necessary
  • Identify and coordinate staff proposal responsibilities
  • Overall document (responses to RFP, RFQ, etc) QA
  • Manage SharePoint proposal library; Coordinate and maintain team documentation for responses to RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, etc.
  • Support the drafting of proposals, liaison with procurement, contracts and other key internal/ external stakeholders to deliver the proposal process to agreed deadlines

Sales Administration

  • Facilitate Sales and Marketing Meetings
  • Develop and monitor CRM reports and dashboards as needed
  • Agenda Management
  • Review market facing events/activities
  • CRM management
  • Drive the updating and maintenance of accounts, deals, contacts


  • Support the creation and implementation of regional marketing plans
  • Support the development, copywriting, design and distribution of marketing material
  • Support the writing, editing and distribution of internal and external communications
  • Support the planning, coordination and execution of conference and events
  • Deliver marketing campaigns to strengthen brand and drive sales
  • Support the development of thought leadership content across APAC
  • Research market trends and distribute information to relevant parties to leverage that information· Manage PSC regional social media presence
  • Collaborate closely and effectively with PSC’s Senior Global Marketing Manager, SMEs and consultants to develop compelling, original articles, thought leadership pieces, white papers and other marketing communications tuned for PSC’s target audiences via various communications channels.


  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Tertiary education in business, communications, engineering or related field
  • Minimum 2 years bids/proposals coordination in a professional services/ corporate environment
  • 2 years + excellent communications skills in a corporate environment

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint- Excellent verbal and written communication and eye for persuasive language
  • Familiarity with basic sales principles
  • Working knowledge of CRM tools (eg HubSpot)
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure required deadlines met
  • Ability to prioritize requests from multiple sources
  • Excellent inter-personal and communication skills
  • Ability to be a strong team member working closely with onsite and remote staff
  • Highly refined writer and communicator, with the ability to craft bespoke client-facing communication materials
  • Solid collaboration skills to build and foster working relationships with internal and external clients
  • Strong organizational and time management skills and attention to detail
  • Self-managing, independent problem solver
