Remote Sensing Specialist

Are you a Remote Sensing / Earth Observation specialist looking for your next challenge?

Role

You will be part of our dynamic and innovative Remote Sensing team working on a number of current and next generation challenges. You will be applying your experience and technical expertise to challenging problem sets to aid decision making. You will also enhance situational awareness by effectively managing remote sensing datasets, providing analysis as a service, and working on cutting edge research and development. The role will be varied, exciting and rewarding.

What you will need specifically

  • Knowledge of current and upcoming Remote Sensing Platforms
  • Technical knowledge in one or more areas such as imagery management (e.g. STAC, APIs etc.), Remote Sensing analysis techniques (e.g. optical, SAR, RF etc.), Space Domain Awareness or visualisation with a Remote Sensing specialism (e.g. 3d, web application development etc.)
  • Experience of scripting, preferably python
  • Ideally working at the nexus of imagery and spatial data science
  • Developed Vetting a bonus
  • Positiveness, determination and problem-solving ability

Location

The role can be remote or based in our office location near Tewkesbury.
