Jacobs offer a full range of Energy & Power Project services for utility scale power generation projects. Our scope of services is a mix of engineering consultancy including concept design, pre-feasibility and feasibility, design review, site investigations, techno-economic advisory services, and technical due diligence, construction management and owner’s engineering services.

Here’s What You’ll Need

As a Project Engineer in Jacobs Renewable Energy & Power group, you will provide consultancy and engineering services in the APAC region. Based in Sydney, you will support multi disciplinary project teams in a technical capacity, supporting the Engineering Manager, Project Manager and clients. We seek someone with a relevant tertiary qualification in either Electrical, Mechanical, Civil/Structural or Renewable Engineering and experience in a range of renewable energy power projects, interested in the opportunity to

  • Conduct feasibility studies and prepare Frontend Engineering Designs for Wind farm projects.
  • Optional site visits for pre agreed periods as required
  • Support the design review process for wind power projects, and other renewable energy generation technologies such as Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage.
  • Coordinate design review teams and collaborate closely with site teams.
  • Collaborate with Senior Management and Project Managers to prepare and submit bids for projects.
  • Engage directly with clients in the Energy & Power sector, attending client meetings to build and maintain valuable relationships.
  • Have the potential to independently manage smaller to mid-size projects, demonstrating your leadership skills.
