The Academic Office is the core of AEF’s academic excellence and innovation. It oversees the design, delivery, and evaluation of all courses and programs offered by AEF, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and relevance. The Academic Office also supports the professional development of AEF’s faculty and staff and fosters collaboration and exchange with partner institutions worldwide.
Job Summary:
The Academic Office Assistant provides administrative support to the Academic Office and assists with coordinating academic programming with partner institutions, outreach to existing and new partners, and improvement projects for the continued development of the academic office in a growing environment. The Academic Office works collaboratively with the Administrative and Student Life Offices on academic program planning and execution. AEF is a growing organization that offers opportunities for professional development and advancement.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist with developing and implementing outreach strategies to reach new and existing partners, including social media campaigns, networking with potential partners, and creating marketing materials.
- Assist with managing improvement projects for the continued development of the academic office, including conducting needs assessments, developing proposals, and managing implementation.
- Assist with program and course assessments and reporting, including developing assessment plans, collecting data, and preparing reports.
- Assist with planning and executing academic and outreach events, including developing event plans, coordinating with vendors, and managing logistics.
- Assist with the development, management, and evaluation of academic internships.
General Responsibilities:
- Assist with coordinating academic programming with partner institutions, including developing and managing partnerships, developing programs, and ensuring that programs meet the needs of students and partners.
- Provide administrative support to the Academic Office, including scheduling meetings, tracking progress on projects, and maintaining files and records.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as education, international relations, or business, or related discipline.
- 2+ year of experience in academic programming or related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Command of English and Italian.
Contract:
- Six-month contract, renewable.
Hours:
- 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- Flexibility required during peak program times.
Travel:
- Occasional travel on academic excursions or to events.
