Job Description

  • this role is open to remote working within the UK. Successful candidates will be required to travel to their closest UNiDAYS campus (London or Nottingham) on occasion.
The role in a nutshell

This is a Senior People Partner role with a global reach. It reports to the VP People and has a team of two reporting to it. The role is supported by the larger People Function including, Employee Experience, Talent Acquisition and Reward.

  • Embedding a true People Partnering model
  • Growing and retaining our talent
  • Leading and developing the People Partners
Day To Day Responsibilities
  • Coaching: help leaders improve their performance and/or behaviours through providing specific guidance and advice.
  • Data analytics: identifying trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs and policies that differentiate UNiDAYS from our competitors.
  • People Development: leveraging tools and processes to assess and develop talent.
  • Employee Relations: With the support of external counsel manage and resolve employee relations matters
  • Working globally: Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation and view them through a Global lens. Understand how to adapt them for different geographical audiences.
  • Support the VP of People to translate business strategy into regional people plans and projects.
  • Ensure that the UNiDAYS values and commitment to diversity and inclusion are upheld in all our processes and activities.
What We Need From You
  • A background in People Partnering
  • A willingness to be both hands on and keen to help shape the strategy of the People team
  • Proven ability to build and maintain a strong business relationship with key partners
  • An appetite to lead and develop others
  • Experience operating with teams across different geographies
  • Comfortable and self sufficient with HRIS and reporting
  • Confident coordinating ER matters
  • Strong communication skills with an open and engaging style combined with the ability to take initiative and be proactive.
