    Supporting the Director and Associate Director of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in conceptualising, developing and delivering EDI initiatives across the organisation. Working closely with colleagues, partners, patients and key stakeholders both internally and externally. Working together in leading change; improvement initiatives; engaging, motivating staff and harnessing the potential of staff; to ensure there is no experiential difference between groups of people based on any of the protected characteristics and beyond.     Seconded as a Practice Development Nurse for Nursing Assistants in the workforce team, Chief Nurse’s Office. • Supporting the lead for non registered clinical staff to support, educate and mentor nursing assistants across the Trust • Identifying and recruiting nursing assistant mentors • Maintaining an up to date register of nursing assistant mentors • Mentoring the nursing assistant mentors and delivering training where needed. • Support with nursing assistant recruitment activity, including long-listing, interviewing and acting as a central point of contact for all new nursing assistant prior to induction. • Identifying and allocating a nursing assistant mentor for each new starter. • Co-coordinating with the new nursing assistant, mentor and mentor’s ward as needed. • Communicating with host ward to keep updated about start dates. • Maintaining contact with new nursing assistants after induction to offer support as needed. • Developing training/learning days based around communication and difficult scenarios. • Evaluating nursing assistant induction scheme (audit) • Sharing learning with workforce council and other stakeholders as needed.

Seconded to coach outsource companies such as LBM with a proven 50% increase in connections within a two week coaching initiative. Assisted in the launch of a coaching \'nursery\' for new starters to the business. Participated in a 12 month leadership evaluation assessment training to become a sales team leader. Led an outbound dial-a-mobile campaign from May 2007 - November 2007. Seconded team leader for an 18 FTE inbound retention team from November 2007 - May 2008.
