About Me

As a passionate, self-proclaimed community builder, I’ve utilized my time at UCLA building bridges (both literally and figuratively) within communities. I’ve worked as a Field Engineer and Project Engineer at PCL Construction where I assisted in overseeing the construction process of the future LA 2028 Olympic village and UCLA University Apartments, Gayley Heights, as well as on the Los Angeles Chargers Training Facility project. As President of the largest collegiate Iranian Student Organization and a founding member of the UCLA Middle Eastern Student Association, I’ve always strived to create safe spaces for people within or interested in the culture.
Currently, I am working with AECOM as a Transportation Engineer on projects impacting my hometown of Sacramento, CA. I am growing and learning a lot about the industry and cannot be happier with my team! This experience will hopefully cement (haha) a strong foundation (haha) for my future in the field.
Ultimately, my aim is to help underserved communities grow and provide access to the tools necessary for them to succeed.

    -Managed the social media pages for the buildings to inform residents of upcoming events, resources, professional opportunities, etc. -Planned and organized large-scale, building-wide events for all Hill residents -Worked alongside Resident and Assistant Resident Directors, Resident Assistants, On-Campus Housing Council, Housing and Residential Life departments, and others to schedule events

  • SMUD (2017 - 2017 ) Information Technology Intern

    -Pioneered establishing a schedule for a design tool valued at $5M to work with compatible units as well as maintained the project tracking system -Reengineered project documentation to be more end user friendly -Assisted in creating an efficient and effective software for maintaining training requirements which reduced turnaround time from 3 months to less than 1 minute
