TxDOT | I-35W NTE Segment 3C Fort Worth, TX | Construction Cost: $1.1B | Completion Date: 12/2023 Construction began in fall 2020 with limits from US 81/287 to Eagle Parkway. This public-private project will rebuild 6.7 miles of I-35W and add four TEXpress Lanes, auxiliary lanes and some frontage roads. Anticipated substantial completion is late 2023. Performed as an Independent Engineer conducting QA audits on materials testing labs, concrete plants, construction work, SW3P environmental compliance, contract compliance, and materials. Work included inspection and auditing of bridges, MSE walls, roadway, drainage, concrete traffic barriers, safety guard rails, and delineation.

Worked on a variety of land development projects in the Southern California region for home builders and land developers such as Meritage Homes, Landsea Homes, DR Horton, Lennar, and others. -Performing project administration for various project documentation for close out and reimbursement -Preparing weekly construction and design meeting agenda -Reviewing and preparing monthly pay applications for approval alongside the construction manager -Coordinating submittals and RFIs between various agencies, engineers, and contractors -Coordinated plan checks and payment processing between Developer, local agencies, and municipalities.

Worked in the Southern California region on projects such as Brackett Field Airport $50M rehabilitation and various Los Angeles County street improvements. Performed as an Office Engineer for a Southern California Asphalt Paving Contractor -Drafted construction traffic control and phasing plans and coordinated with local city agencies for approval -Reviewed field staff time sheets -Processed T&M tickets -Performed project administration for submittals and RFIs -Coordinated with superintendent, foreman, suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure timely material and services delivery -Coordinating with local agencies on contractor stockpile and staging areas -Coordinating construction debris removal -Prepared documentation such as purchase orders and change orders -Prepared weekly construction and kickoff meeting agendas

Performed as a peer mentor guiding freshmen and sophomore students assisting them with signing up for classes and campus resources. Performed tutoring on engineering subjects and assisted students in preparations for exams and other professional developments.

Conducted environmental engineering research on bacterial foaming at wastewater under a PhD and funded by the National Science Foundation and LSAMP. Performed lab tests on bacterial population species. Presented at school science symposium and at the California Water Environmental Association (CWEA) 2018 conference in Palm Springs.

Collected water bottle samples from the Santa Ana River. Performed wet sieve analysis and fines analysis. Tested water quality such as turbidity. Performed water column tests at the water plant and various offsite test locations. Tracked and analyze water quality and contamination trends on Excel as part of the long term Groundwater Replenishment System (GWRS) studies
